The Lux TQX is a Matter-enabled thermostat with one of the more advanced sensing platforms on the market — millimeter-wave radar occupancy detection plus support for up to 5 remote sensors (one included) for whole-house presence awareness. Matter connectivity lets it pair directly with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings via any Matter-capable smart speaker, and the occupancy data can be shared with the broader ecosystem to drive automations for lighting and security. An intelligent display adapts brightness via a light sensor and wakes only when someone is nearby. Broad HVAC compatibility covers conventional, heat pump (up to 4-heat/2-cool), PTAC, and 2-pipe or 4-pipe fan coil systems, with up to 2 auxiliary outputs for humidification, dehumidification, or ventilation — C-wire and wall plates included.
