Zemismart MTL3-CW is a Matter over Thread CCT strip driver

Zemismart has introduced the MTL3-CW, a Matter over Thread controller for compatible 12V/24V constant-voltage tunable-white (CCT) LED strips. In a November 3, 2026 product news post on its community forum, Zemismart says the driver adjusts brightness from 1% to 100% and mixes warm and cool white channels so the same strips can shift through the day.

The company rates the MTL3-CW at up to 5A per channel and 20A total, within the limits of the connected strip and power supply, and notes an external antenna for installs in cabinets or other concealed spots. Matter control works locally with a Matter controller and a Thread border router; Zemismart specifically calls out Home Assistant's Matter integration. It also lists Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings and Homey among supported Matter platforms.

The forum post does not give a manufacturer price or a release date beyond the introduction itself. The usable white-temperature range and minimum brightness depend on the LED strip and power supply, Zemismart says.
