SwitchBot announced its Permanent Outdoor Lights on October 20, 2026: a 30m outdoor lighting system made of six 5m segments with 72 LEDs. It mixes RGBIC color effects with separate warm-white and cool-white LEDs (2700K to 6500K), so it can do holiday displays as well as everyday white lighting. The light strings are rated IP67, the controller and power adapter IP65, and the system is meant to stay installed all year.
The lights support Matter over Wi-Fi natively, so they don't need a SwitchBot hub. A Matter controller such as an Apple HomePod mini is still required. SwitchBot lists Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, Home Assistant and SmartThings as supported platforms, and the lights also work in the SwitchBot app and with the included wired controller.
SwitchBot says the lights are already available from its own website and its Amazon store. The manufacturer's announced MSRP is USD 239.99 (CAD 299.99).
