Nanoleaf firmware 5.1.45 brings Matter 1.4 to Thread lights

Nanoleaf has released firmware 5.1.45 for all of its Matter-over-Thread Essentials devices. This covers the A19 and BR30 bulbs, downlights, GU10s and lightstrips. According to Nanoleaf's release notes, the update adds Matter 1.4 support for better compatibility with other smart home devices and lets Apple Adaptive Lighting work natively in the Apple Home app. It also improves connection stability in the Nanoleaf app.
Nanoleaf's release notes date the update to October 7, 2026. Separately, Nanoleaf released firmware 5.2.57 for its Matter-over-Wi-Fi devices on October 5, which contains bug fixes and security and performance improvements.
