GE smart shades now come in custom sizes
Announced GE Lighting
GE Lighting has added made-to-order sizing to its GE Smart Shades. Besides the standard widths of 24 to 36 inches, the custom shades can be ordered from 28 to 72 inches wide, with lengths from 35 up to 110 inches. GE lists blackout, translucent and screen fabrics, black or white hardware, aluminum trim, and assembly in the USA.
The shades use Matter over Thread, so they work with Thread-capable Matter controllers such as Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings. They come with a remote and have a battery-powered motor that GE describes as quiet. GE's shades page doesn't list a price for the custom sizes.
